Domains ending in .uk require 2 simple steps to be completed to transfer them in instantly:

Here’s how to transfer your domain name from 123-reg to us and start saving on renewal prices.
Domains that are newer than 60 days can't be transferred out of 123 Reg. This is due to ICANN rules to prevent fraud. If it’s after 60 days, follow this process:
How to transfer a domain from 123-reg
- Log in to your 123-reg control panel
- Select Domain Names within ‘Manage active products’. Choose the domain you want to transfer and select 'Manage'.
- If your domain is locked, choose 'Manage Domain Locking' under Domain transfers and set it to 'Off'.
- If you have Domain Ownership Protection, click this under Domain basics and select 'Options' > Turn off'
- You'll prompted for your Domain Ownership Protection password. If you don't have this, you will need to request a new password, which will involve an identity check.

- Enter our IPS tag, which is ‘STACK’, then click 'CHANGE IPS TAG NOW'.

What if I want to keep my domain elsewhere?
That's no problem at all. You may wish, for whatever reason, to keep your domain elsewhere. We understand that this situation arises sometimes.
If that's the case, to host your website with us, you'll still need a SSL certificate to secure your site and protect form submissions, as well as ensure you continue to rank well with search engines such as Google and Bing.
You have two options available if you keep your domain elsewhere:
- Change the nameservers for your domain to: ns1.stackdns.com, ns2.stackdns.com, ns3.stackdns.com, ns4.stackdns.com
